Boeing have successfully completed the first test flight of the QF-16 supersonic drone. Six planes, adapted from mothballed fighters, have been rebuilt to fly via remote control from the ground, and will be used as weapons practice and targets by the US Air force. However, the development has worried some anti-drone campaigners, who say it is one more step towards automatic killing machines.
